The First Health-preservation Cultural Festival was held in November 18, 2010 by Yanda International Health City. Over 300 PLA generals, former government ministers and well-known artists attended the opening ceremony.

With themes of “Caring, Responsibility, Harmony and Win-win”, the Festival has exhibited a collection of 300 painting and calligraphy works, many of which are the masterpieces of the generals and ministers.  

“We’ve established a new record in a single event hosted by an enterprise in terms of the numbers of PRC general, former government minister and artist participants”, said Wang Yide, director of the preparatory committee for the Festival.  

The generals, government ministers and artists created their artworks on the site as well. Li Huai, board chairman of Yanda International Health City, accompanied the generals and artists in their tour of the Health City. 

The Festival lasted for two days and more than other 300 guests from across the country attended the art exhibitions, seminars and outdoor cultural activities. 

“The festival is well organized and went on very successfully. I look forward to the next one in 2011”, He Luli, former vice chairwoman of NPC Standing Committee, told the preparatory committee.

The annual event is scheduled to take place on the same date next year.
